Founded more than 100 years ago, our client has been recognized as one of the nations 25 Best Small Companies to Work for in America.  This client seeks to hire a Sr. Designer for its Hospitality team.  Basic requirements for the position are as follows.

Responsibilities:

• The Sr. Designer will lead the architectural and aesthetic development of beautiful buildings on highly complex, design-led hospitality projects.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, graphic designers, and communication strategists to market, win and deliver built projects including five star properties, resorts and spas. 
• Mentor less experienced design professionals and provide active, shared leadership to a firm-wide design dialogue.
• Possess a command of executive level communication with clients and peers
• Be a clear presenter when representing the teams' design concepts, including building interiors, site and master planning issues.
• The Sr. Designer will be responsible to working on multiple concurrent, complex projects.
• Domestic travel to client sites is expected and there is the potential for international travel as well.
• This is a principal (ownership) potential role.

Experience:

• BA/BS degree (minimum) in Architecture
• Professional registration
• 12+ years of progressive experience with knowledge of AutoCAD
• Passion and Proven design leadership in serving clients and earning their trust
• Impeccable references including a strong portfolio of work
• Strong business acumen, executive communication skills, expert project leadership, effective mentor of others and problem solving/decision making skills
