Our client, a Mississauga software sales and development organization requires a full time Finance / Operations Manager . They are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills to join their team.

 

You have a preference for an aggressive, entrepreneurial company where change happens on a daily basis. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management and provide operations support to the President.  Sales administration and accounting experience are essential.

Requirements of Role:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Budgets for operating business plans
  • Weekly reporting on financial status
  • All accounting functions to Trial Balance
  • Daily reporting to management
  • Project tracking for billing purposes
  • Track accounts receivable / payable
  • Communication and correspondence with applicable financial institutions
  • Procurement and Vendor management
  • Inventory control
  • Price Book maintenance
  • Processing payroll and benefits administration
  • Records management
  • Supervises activities performed in all work units within the office, including office management and implementation of procedures
  • Establishing branch procedures and processes

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • University diploma; working towards CMA or CGA
  • At least 5 years prior business experience in bookkeeping and office administration
  • Experience in Human Resources is an asset
  • Must be proficient in Simply Accounting
  • Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Outgoing personality, with professional demeanor (in appearance and speech)
  • Strong work ethic, punctual and diligent
