Job Description:

Our client delivers financial services to more than 5.9 million retail and 460,000 small business customers in Canada. eChannels and Distribution Services is responsible for the ABM and Internet Channels, as well as Customer Care/Loyalty, Client Segments, and Training and Development for all of retail Markets. The Retail Markets division seeks a creative and dynamic individual to joint their team as a Marketing Analyst to develop and continue to evolve the mass marketing metrics strategy and play a key role in leading its implementation.

 

The Marketing Analyst will coordinate, implement, and measure marketing activities, including online banking adoption and activation campaigns, online marketing campaigns, targeted offer campaigns, and sales effectiveness initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the design, build and implementation of targeted internet offers
  • Based on the eChannels strategy, support the creation of customer adoption, activation and retention plans for online banking based on solid metrics, driving registrations, increasing number of transactions and building loyalty
  • Support the creation and implementation of online mass marketing campaigns
  • Support external corporate communication strategies for internet channel projects
  • Manage relationships in support of ABM and online mass marketing campaigns and initiatives with internal stakeholders
  • Develop expertise about the organization’s mass marketing capabilities, products and services
  • Monitor industry and technology developments on a continuous basis, assessing the impact on mass marketing
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the internal mass marketing website
  • Conduct reporting and analysis for mass marketing campaigns  

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in the Internet industry in project management, business development or client management
  • University degree or college diploma in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; and/or certificate in project management
  • Developed knowledge of project and/or product management principles
  • Good understanding of the internet and its application in financial services
  • Experience with and understanding of all or some of: marketing issues, including ad copy, industry trends, copy writing, user experience issues (creative, technology, human factors, etc), internet, online marketing techniques, etc
  • E-commerce and/or enabling internet technology experience would be an asset
  • Analytic and systematic thinking
  • Results oriented with strong initiative
  • Excellent relationship building skills

 

This is a full-time permanent position.
