Our client delivers financial services to more than 5.9 million retail and 460,000 small business customers in Canada. eChannels and Distribution Services is responsible for the ABM and Internet Channels, as well as Customer Care/Loyalty, Client Segments, and Training and Development for all of Retail Markets.

 

The Retail Markets division seeks a creative and dynamic individual to joint their team as a Senior Sales and Marketing Analyst to support a Senior Manager on the team as a business owner and advocate for designing, building, implementing and measuring mass marketing campaigns, as well as targeted offers for both the ABM and online channels. This role will manage various initiatives concurrently and will be required to interact with several different stakeholders at once.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of a Senior Manager, manage the design, build and implementation of targeted and mass marketing campaigns
  • Monitor annual and business marketing plans for the segment/product groups
  • Manage relationships in support of marketing initiatives with internal stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing “test and learn” programs to optimize response rates and business results from targeted offer and marketing campaigns
  • Develop expertise about targeted and mass marketing, the organization’s marketing capabilities and products and services
  • Build and maintain core knowledge about the internet and online marketing
  • Monitor industry and technology developments on a continuous basis, assessing the impact on mass marketing
  • Support eChannels distribution services strategy development
  • Train and mentor new Marketing Analysts in the delivery of targeted offers and mass marketing
  • Conduct analyses and research surrounding marketing capabilities and industry trends to identify eChannels priorities and strategies

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the Internet industry in project management, business development or client management
  • University degree in business, commerce or marketing or equivalent; and/or certificate in project management
  • Experience in market research and analysis, financial modeling, and statistics
  • Developed knowledge of project and/or product management principles
  • Good understanding of the internet and its application in financial services
  • E-commerce and/or enabling internet technology experience would be an asset
  • Analytic and systematic thinking
  • Results oriented with strong initiative
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiating and diplomacy skills

This is a full-time permanent position.
