Sr. Program Manager
ROLE:
Build a team and an integrated plan to manage all layers of the sub-release and manage all dependencies across this integrated plan
Extensive communication among all internal and external program customers
Understand architecture, effectively design program solutions, in terms of deliverables and tasks
Develop and manage plans and time budgets
Identify and assess risks and communicate risk to client and internal sponsors
Manage all program deliverables
Provide status updates to the program authorities;
Organize and facilitate program meetings;
Work effectively within a matrix organization internally, and within a very diverse array of potential client program organizational models, including PMOs, multiple sponsors, etc.
Program Management: Systems Development and Project Integration expertise; end-to-end project lifecycle including business case definition, requirements & architecture through development & implementation expertise.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and high-pressured environment
Manages Change: Plans for and is proactive about change; encourages new approaches; fosters an environment where team members brainstorm ideas; helps team members through change. Deploys influential skills to resolve distinct differences of opinion or approach; can promote or negotiate on the client's behalf on a limited basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Written Communication: Excellent written communication skills
Can prepare detailed plans and presentations, using models, diagrams, charts, tables and specialized terminology as necessary to effectively communicate.
Experience in Global Delivery working with matrix teams
Knowledgeable about large program governance
Expert in financial services operations and/or technology
Adaptable to diverse client environments, very familiar with the major types of financial services divisions and organizations;
Financial services background and / or industry certification (CSC, CPH, CFP, CIBA, ICB or CFA) preferred.
MS Project, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Visio, and other office tools
Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience
PMP designation a plus
