Job Description:

Business Systems Analyst

Our client, an International Financial Services organization is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with strong Business Objects and Data Management experience to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Business Analyst role focused on transforming data into information
• Minimum 3 years experience working with BusinessObjects products including (Reporter, Designer, Supervisor, Web Intelligence, and Central Management Console)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL
• Strong Information Systems knowledge and proficiency
• Advanced knowledge of PC's, including Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), relational database management systems, reporting and planning software products
• Experience in troubleshooting problems, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions
• Ability to utilize system interfaces to upload and download financial and statistical data

Nice to have:

• Ability to uncover performance issues with SQL queries and suggest ways to improve query design
• Experience with database design and database management
• Experience with SQL Server 2000 or later
• Experience with Cognos and Hyperion
