This role is responsible for the day to day management of one or more client accounts within the agency, including the supervision of web development assignments and strategic interactive marketing plans. The Account Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of client initiatives to meet their business objectives. The Account Supervisor will take on progressively more responsibility for leading and training the agency team and in managing the finances for his/her client accounts. Requirements of Role: Your first responsibility as Account Supervisor will be to establish effective working processes and to develop strong trust based relationships with both clients and Agency team members. You will quickly learn the Agency processes and methodology and use them effectively on a day to day basis. This includes process management, budget and client reporting. Primary Responsibilities: - The Account Supervisor serves as a daily point of client contact and is responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in an efficient, timely manner; completed on time and within budget.
- The Account Supervisor is responsible for obtaining customer sign-off on projects and capturing changes in project scope (obtaining client approval on related revisions)
- Provide account management, including resource coordination, customer relationship management, ongoing and timely communication to clients(s)
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Schedule and lead project kick-off, status meetings, quality reviews and closeout
- Track and report progress against milestones
- Make time sensitive decisions that have a positive impact on client’s business
- Present and explain support deliverables to client at various levels including executives
- Provide direct contribution on projects and on technology and process issues
- Conduct regular business reviews of support metrics and quality of work
Desired Qualifications: - In-depth project management skills (including demonstrated experience with formal project management tools) and experience driving projects to completion; meeting or exceeding goals
- Leadership skills, able to coach and mentor project and account teams and individuals
- Ability to drive cross functional resources to design and deliver solutions to the client
- Strong planning, monitoring and scheduling skills
- Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure, and have strong communication skills - both written & oral
- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities
- 5+ years experience (with 3 of these in a client-facing role) in an integrated advertising or interactive marketing agency environment with direct experience in client management, project management and new business development.
- University degree, preferably in Marketing or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Digital Marketing and Communications, web production techniques and costs
- Exceptional organization and computer skills – advanced knowledge in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word and Visio
