The Account Manager role

We need a self-motivated Account Manager to manage and grow sales to our existing customers in the Eastern N.A. territory.  You'll work closely with your customers to understand their individual needs and propose creative, value-added solutions.

 

You will use your project management experience to coordinate your projects internally and work with our team (engineering, operations, purchasing) to launch new product developments and address any customer issues.

 

You will:

  • Build excellent relationships with new and existing customers
  • Visit and speak to our customers regularly to establish strong rapport and credibility
  • Create inter-company connections with upper management, engineers and purchasing agents, by networking and understanding customer politics
  • Negotiate win-win agreements with customers for new projects and to resolve any issues using available resources.  (types of issues: Sales Orders, Quality Concerns, Design Changes, Pricing, etc.)
  • Uncover growth, and value added opportunities with our existing customers
  • Propose creative solutions to win Opportunities
  • Forecast sales
  • Find and Qualify potential customers
  • Coordinate and lead projects, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality Departments 

 

You have:

  • Engineering degree (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical)
  • Technical understanding of electrical/electronic products
  • At least 5 years sales/account management experience
  • Experience in the Floor Care and/or HVAC industries would be useful
  • Excellent written and spoken English; French speaking would be very useful.
