Our La Marque, TX client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. This client offers an excellent benefits package as well as a stable work environment.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Inspector include, but are not limited to the following:
-Inspection and examination of items fabricated, conforming to customer specifications.
-Facilitator to subcontractors providing NDE services to the company.
-Shop surveillance for continuous quality improvement of Fabrication and Machining Departments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 5 years minimum experience in Quality Control Inspection.
- Associates Degree in Technical Field of study a plus.
- Knowledge of ASME Codes.
- Knowledge in Welding techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of Fabrication techniques and Processes.
- Intermediate level: MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge and use of machinist type measuring devices a plus.
Job Requirements:
Inspect fabricated equipment: B31 Pipe Fab Fabrication, Process Skid Fabrication, and ASME Sec. VIII Pressure Vessels.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques for: Hydrotesting, Paint Coating Systems, and NDE processes used for quality assurance of fabricated equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement through current Quality System.
