We are looking for an experienced database internals (not a database user). This position is on the development and implementation team of a specialized high performance distributed database product that scales to very large data volumes. Your primary responsibilities will be to define, design, and develop database related functionality within the Company's commercial Internet data center product. This position requires hands-on development expertise, developing innovative solutions for scalable, high performance distributed systems. The successful candidate is self-reliant and resourceful, that enjoys working with other smart motivated people.

Skills: 

1. BS in Computer Science or related field 
2. Strong proficiency in C/C++ in a Linux environment 
3. Previous experience developing internals, engines, or extensions for a production database (e.g., Oracle, Postgres, Informix, Mysql, Sqlite)
