Manager, Supply Chain Finance

Our food supplements and personal care products manufacturing and distribution client is looking for a Supply Chain Finance Manager. Will work with Operations to identify and understand key operating results impacting P&L statements.  Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial information and predicting future performance for Companies Personal Care Products.

• Assist and train personnel in understanding financial impact of decisions.
• Assist and train personnel in forecasting changes
• Assist operations group in all areas of operational responsibilities of supply chain.
• Liaison with corporate finance group.
• • Drive Business process improvements across the supply chain.
• Coordinate development of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts for COGS, Delivery, and Warehousing expenses.
• Prepare monthly Operations reports and analyze actual vs. forecast variances. Work with Operations to analyze results and enhance future performance.
• Lead the annual process to develop standard costs for each Personal Care item (ingredients, packaging, overhead, freight, labor, and finished goods).
• Validate new production models (bills of material) for components, quantities, and costs.
• Develop and maintain monthly key performance indicators, metrics & glide-paths for PPV, production variance, service, inventory, waste, and cost.
Conduct ‘Cost vs Benefit’; ‘Make vs Buy’; ‘Stay vs Outsource’
• Other duties and responsibility as assigned by supervisor or upper management.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years experience in consumer goods manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Advanced computer and database management skills. 
Hyperion and AS400 platform experience a plus.
• Financial planning, analysis, and reporting experience.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
with enthusiasm. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites, Prism a plus
