Procurement Services Associates has an immediate 6 month Temp-to-Hire Buyer opportunities with our food industry client company. Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position.
The buyer will be responsible for managing the spend for IT services and hardware. This position will be responsible for negotiating and awarding agreements for software and hardware products and services. Candidate should have experience preparing blanket purchase agreements, request for proposal/quotation documents, supplier management and selection, and with negotiating and awarding agreements or purchase orders. The candidate should be experienced in all phases of the order fulfillment process from order creation to expediting and receiving, including purchase order and invoice reconciliation.
Candidates should have a bachelor degree 3+ years of related experience and possess above average communication, writing and people skills. Candidate experience should include above average computer skills and current knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; SAP purchasing system knowledge is a plus.
