Procurement Services Associates has an immediate for a 6 month Temp-to-Hire Buyer opportunity with our food industry client.
The buyer will manage the expenditures for the purchase of indirect spend i.e. office supplies, facilities and professional service contracts. The person should have knowledge of the order fulfillment process, from order creation to order closing. The process includes order acknowledgement, expediting, order confirmation, and resolving invoice to purchase order problems.
Candidates should have a bachelor degree, 3+ of related experience and possess above average communication, writing and people skills. Candidate experience should include above average computer skills and current knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; SAP purchasing system knowledge is a plus.
