Job Description:

The Senior Procurement Manager will maximize the value delivered to the company through third party expenditure and the management of internal costs. Will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing Source Plans for assigned spend subcategories, by leading cross-functional teams to develop value-enabling Sourcing Strategies. Defining, understanding and analyzing business needs for materials, services and supply market information. In addition this role will be generating and analyzing innovative sourcing options, building Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management Strategies to maximize value and managing supply risk, while ensuring that internal stakeholders' requirements are met.

Incumbents will be a successful project manager responsible for managing a portfolio of categories of raw materials used in clinical and marketed biopharmaceutical products. Qualified candidates will have relevant experience in procurement of packaging materials including corrugate, cartons, inserts, labels, glassware, and stoppers;  demonstrated skill in planning and leading negotiations, and have experience in structuring and managing supplier contracts, establish and build successful supplier relationships. Responsibilities included conducting complex RFP/RFIs, analyzing and evaluating responses and making recommendations for supplier selection, managing supplier relationship and performance, negotiating and managing supply agreements and service level agreements

BS or BA degree required, MS a plus with 12+ years of relevant experience in related Industry’s with recent experience in packaging components. Must have working knowledge of SAP, excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and persuasion skills.

This position will require 25% travel.
