Job Description:
PART-TIME POSITION Job description: Primary responsibility for the planning, design, implementation, support and planning of IP Telephony Applications, Wireless LAN, LAN/WAN and Security network equipment for customers. Candidate must have a proven and documented experience with the following: Cisco UC Systems - design, implementation, and support; 802.11a\b\g\n Wireless - design, site surveys, and implementation; LAN/WAN networks - design, implementation, and support; Security Appliances – design, implementation, and support, including but not limited to Cisco ASA, IPS, IDS, MARS, and NAC. Candidate is expected to perform network problem resolution and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications. Participate in network planning, network architecture, design and engineering meetings. Provide documentation of the IPT, Wireless, Security, and LAN/WAN systems as required. Provide pre-sales consultant and design services onsite and/or remotely for clients. Some travel required Required Skills: 5-8 Years LAN/WAN 3 Years Cisco IPT Experience 3 years WLAN and Security Cisco CCNP & CCVP Certified ***CCIE DESIRED*** CCSP, CISSP Certified a plus Microsoft Windows 2000 & 2003 Experience (MCSE is a plus) Excellent LAN/WAN and Cisco IPT Troubleshooting skills Experience working with Cisco Routers and Switches. Experience working with Wireless controllers and APs. Experience working with Cisco PIX firewalls, IDS, ASA, IPS, and other Cisco security appliances. Experience with OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, and Global Load Balancing. Experience with design and implementation of QOS for LAN/WAN. Experience working with MGCP, H.323 and SGCP Voice Gateway Protocols Ability to design, implement and support Complex Networks - Voice/Video/Data/Wireless Ability to Analyze a design and take the necessary steps to comply with best practices Excellent process and procedure definition skills Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology a Plus RELOCATION ASSISTANCE NOT PROVIDED
