Job Description:
The Avaya Design Specialist will provide pre-sales technical support to sales team including: Customer visits, site walks, sales technical support and addressing customer technical questions. Participate in the organization's hosted on-line webinars by providing technical expertise and addressing customer questions, ability to define and analyze customer requirements and design appropriate solutions, design technical solutions using Avaya Solution Designer (ASD), and responsible for proposal generation to include Visio topology of designed solution.
Requirements:
Proven Knowledge and Experience with Avaya Voice Communication Infrastructure including S87xx, S85xx, G700, G650, G450, G350, G250, ESS/LSP;
Experience designing AVAYA ECG based solutions including S8700/8500/8300 Media Server gateways, Messaging Solutions, Call Center Solutions, and IP Telephony
Detailed knowledge of VOIP protocols and architectures, VOIP enterprise networks and telephony to include QOS bandwidth utilization, addressing, latency, etc.
Proven knowledge of legacy platforms including G3R, SI, SCI, Modular Messaging, Intuity Audix, and Octel 250/350
Proficient computer skills using AVAYA Solution Designer, MS Office, Visio and MS Project is a plus.
Qualifications:
AVAYA Certifications (ACA, ACS, ACE) is strongly preferred.
