Job Description: Problem Analysis and Resolution
Completion of Customer Service Requests
Resolving desktop and laptop hardware and software problems
* Analyze, diagnose, resolve or coordinate the resolution of personal computer hardware related problems, including internally and externally connected equipment
* Analyze, diagnose, resolve or coordinate the resolution of personal computer software related problems including vendor supplied and internally developed applications
* Analyze, diagnose, resolve, or coordinate the resolution of personal computer operating system problems
* Analyze customer service requests for adherence to AT&T and Amdocs standards
* Execute or coordinate the execution of Customer Service Requests
Work Skills or Experience:
Desktop and Laptop computer repair and installation
* Experienced with Dell and HP desktops and laptops
* Desktop and Laptop software installation and configuration
* Experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system installation and repair
* Experience with Microsoft Windows XP operating system installation and repair
* Experience with Microsoft Office products installation and configuration
* Experience with Norton Ghost
* Experience with electronic problem reporting and tracking systems
* Ability to follow documented processes and procedures
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Ability to travel within the country
* Ability to lift heavy objects (desktops, laptops, monitors)
