We are seeking a Project Manager to manage the CRM project for the City of San Antonio. A phased approach will be utilized within the deployment of the CRM application across multiple years. The Project Manager will ensure that all designs, plans and coordination have been accounted for in order to deploy the application. The Project Manager will be working with the vendor awarded the contract to provide the CRM software solution.
The Project Manager will adhere to standard project management industry practices. The Project Manager will be required to have a firm understanding of the business and technical objectives of the CRM project. Working closely with the project sponsor will be essential.
The Project Manager will create the project charter, work plans, and monitor progress within the project. The Project Manager will oversee the retirement of the current mainframe application and will validate all integration points with various other software platforms currently utilized at the COSA. The selected person will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of this project. The Project Manager will work closely with the vendor providing the software that has been selected by the COSA.
The position will report to the ITSD Information Services Manager managing the current mainframe application.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with project management -- 7 years
Experience with information system implementation and acceptance testing -- 7 years
Experience interfacing with all areas affected by the project including stakeholders, program/business/relationship managers, vendors and end users -- 7 years
Experience with CRM deployment -- 7 years
Experience integrating with SAP -- 7 years
Experience developing and delivering presentations -- 7 years
Excellent verbal and written communication skills -- Strong
Facilitation skills -- Strong
Ability to engage client executives -- Strong
Preferred:
Knowledge of Six Sigma a plus -- 5 years
Project management certification -- 5 years
Knowledge, experience and projects deployed for a call center (311) and processing of work orders in a public sector environment -- 5 years
Knowledge and experience integrating COTS (Customized off The Shelf) solutions with the Mainframe and with COTS Work Order Management applications - 5+ years
Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance - 5 years
