Job Description:
Goodman Networks, a professional services company serving the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, is a National Vendor for Cingular Wireless, Andrew Corp., and Alcatel. We are in need of a qualified Scout Engineer in Bloomington, MN.
The Scout Engineer opportunity is a temp assignment with possibility of extension throughout 2010. Candidate Profile:
* Must be EXTREMELY knowledgeable and require NO TRAINING with the TruePosition Scout system
* Configuration and design of E911 files for new site builds, including:
- the gathering of Section 3 data
- design work
- building of parameters and configuration files to be loaded into SCOUT for new site builds.
* 9 + months of experience to include trouble shooting, spectral knowledge, Switch knowledge... following a DS0 from MSC to site (racks.)
* Coordinating swaps with field personnel.
* Knowledge and use of configuration files
* Bonus skill for candidate to have had TP training.
* Must be able to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
* MUST have experience with SCOUT to include working with Scout configuration files.
* MUST have EMS and e911 TP tool experience
* MUST be familiar with MPC and Intrado TCS
* MUST have TruePosition (TP) and LMU background.
* Solid understanding of e911, LMU, and WLS architecture. Proficient in e911 systems, networks, and platforms
