Job Description:
Goodman Networks, a professional services company serving the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, is a National Vendor for AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Andrew Corp., Sprint/Nextel, and Alcatel-Lucent. We are currently hiring a Tower Crew Lead to work in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Candidates must be local to this area. This position is for the Tiger Team and will direct other tower hands.
Skills:
- Able to perform tower intstallations from foundation to erection of lattice towers, monopoles, guyed towers. Installations of mounts, cables, and antennas on towers and rooftops.
- Experience in completing full grounding installations, tower demolition, tower stripping and painting erect and horizonal.
- Troubleshoot and fix on connectors and Antenna system.
- Install coaxial cable on towers, rooftop - any structure.
- UMTS upgrades
- Maintenance, punch repair and getting cellular sites ready for audit.
Requirements: - MUST be a Certified Tower Climber - can be via Gravitec Systems, Inc. or Comtrain Tower climbing and Rescue certification.
- This is a full-time employment position with benefits including personal time off, health insurance and 401K.
- At least 2 years climbing experience with wireless tower hardware assembly experience also.
