Job Description:
Goodman Networks, a professional services company serving the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, is a National Vendor for AT&T, Andrew Corp., and Alcatel. Goodman Networks is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to be based out of Seattle/Kirkland, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform feasibility walks in corroboration with Zoning, Acquisition and RF departments.
• Provide additional site and product information as required for zoning hearings. Represent Construction Department in any zoning meetings as required by Site Acquisition Manager.
• Determine feasibility of construction, identifying construction access/staging areas, determining best route for utilities introduction into site, and help determine the most viable constructible site.
• Supervise construction design within drawings, and ensure the most economical and best construction practices are utilized. Review red-lined drawings and ensure that red-lines are correctly represented into the final construction drawings.
• Provide examples of tower products as required by Acquisition Supervisor or their agents in order to submit to the Landlords for use on the site.
• Assist with site plans and sketches for inclusion into lease agreements.
• Is in charge of planning, budgeting, and directing the construction project.
• Tracks the progress of construction operations such as the arrival and utilization of materials, supplies, tools, machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
• May take care of securing the needed permits and licenses for projects.
  Supervise personnel resources and interface with general sub-contractors. Review bids, budgets, and gross margin. Read and understand site status reports, site plans, tower drawings, and grounding plans. 
• Report on and update job progress on weekly database trackers; including web based VPM.  
• Must be ready to respond to urgent questions, establish priorities, and delegate tasks as necessary.
• Must have a VERY STRONG work ethic, and the desire to deliver excellent customer service!
• Ability to travel between job sites daily is a must; frequent overnight travel or longer is also a must.
• Must be willing to work days/nights/weekends depending on project demands.

Requirements:

• Have 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with broadcast, microwave, and wireless site construction experience.
• Have 5+ years of construction project management supervision; including project feasibilities, estimating, operational trouble shooting.
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree in construction science preferred).
• Must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation that may be used to commute between jobsites.
