Position: Project Manager / Senior Systems Analyst
Location:Brentwood, TN
Need only 4-5 years of recent PM here wanting more hands on, resume must reflect this to be considered. Need strong database experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage full life cycle application development projects as well as enhancements and maintenance of existing applications.
Interact with Business Users to gather requirements
Document requirements and Functional Specifications
Develop and maintain project plans
Manage the Change Control process
Status reporting
Facilitate application design sessions and work with the development team during the development phase
Co-ordinate QA and User Acceptance Testing
Assist with quality assurance tasks, including test plan documentation, test data preparation, defect tracking/resolution, root cause analysis and resolution
Manage system implementation and rollout
User documentation and training
Production Support
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent
10+ years of relevant experience in IT
5+ years as a PM, Business/Systems Analyst on IT projects
Experience with different software development life-cycles such as Agile and SCRUM.
Healthcare industry experience required.
Experience with Collections and Cash Accounting systems required.
Experience with HIPAA compliant EDI transactions (837, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277) is highly desired.
Must have PMI certification
Must have experience using some Project Management methodology
Must have a thorough understanding and experience using Requirements Management process
Must have experience using a Change Control process
Experience with Project Management and Requirements Management tools is highly desired
Experience with web applications and SQL is highly desired
Experience with Version Control tools like StarTeam is highly desired
