Job Description:

Are you newly designated and looking to take on a Controllership role that provides challenge and adventure? Due to an internal promotion our client has an immediate opening in their Winnipeg head office. Duties include:

•          Monthly review of financial reports including variance analysis
•          Ongoing reporting, support and training to operational sites
•          Cash flow management
•          Inventory management
•          Develop and monitor internal controls
•          Liaison for all regulatory and compliance audits
•          Budget preparation and analysis
•          Annual preparation of year-end financial statements and year-end working papers
•          Day to day support and guidance to operational accounting services team

You are newly designated (CMA, CGA) and now ready to take on your first senior level role that supports the strategic decision making process. As the Controller you have experience with financial statement preparation and year end working papers with proven time management skills and are comfortable working within tight deadlines. You like to ask questions and get to the bottom of an issue. Experience working with AccPac, POS systems or in a multi-divisional environment (property management) would be a huge asset.
