Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant/Analyst will have shared responsibilities for a wide range of accounting functions of moderate to advanced level of complexity and is responsible for contributing to the effective operation of the Finance Department.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks:
- Supports Controller on ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
- Executes month end close process, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Some statistical Analysis
- Assists in the preparation and analysis of reports
- Prepares and reviews journal entries, supports schedules, and maintains the general ledger
- Assists in the review and preparation of quarterly forecasts
- Assists with maintenance and continuous improvement of accounting systems, including policies, processes and controls

Qualifications:
- Professional accounting designation (CGA or CMA)
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- Strong analytical and administrative skills with careful attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and personal drive to exceed expectations
- Strong proficiency in Word and Excel and ability to grasp new technologies quickly
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment

Your strong analytical, organizational, and financial reporting experience will provide you with the necessary tools for success in this position.
