Job Description:
Our Vancouver based Mining client is a public company currently conducting a search for an exceptional Senior accounting professional for a 3 to 6 month Contract! If you enjoy working with the senior management and financial team of a successful corporation, are able to travel to Central America, speak Spanish and have previous mine site experience, then we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Install a new accounting system at mine site Review Accounting Procedures and their business impact. Ensure adherence to CDN GAAP Needs mine site exp, knows Latin American culture, designated, strong in systems. Required Skills: CA, CGA, CPA or CMA designation MUST be able to communicate effectively in Spanish Mine site experience Knowledge of Latin American culture Have solid Senior Level Accounting Experience Strong in systems Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in accordance with the CICA handbook Strong written and verbal communication skills This is an amazing opportunity to escape the Canadian winter to a beautiful sunny location, work with a Top Management team and is handsomely compensated including accommodation, transportation back home for Christmas and other perks!
