Job Description:

An experienced Accounts Payable Clerk is sought by our client, a Central Edmonton construction firm for a full time role as soon as possible.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • As an accounts payable clerk you will handle the invoice processing of the accounts payable functions.
  • Code and enter invoices into accounts payable sub ledger.
  • Ensure matching of supporting documentation and related filing.
  • Reconcile accounts payable balances to supplier statements.

Required Skills:

  • Two years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
  • Completion of an accounting diploma program
  • Good knowledge of basic vendor invoicing processes, including knowledge of MS office applications.
  • Knowledge of construction software would be an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
