Established GC in MN is in need of a Senior Estimator with 10 plus years experience in general construction and a Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field. Our client is currently conducting interviews and is actively pursuing “A” players.
If you are a Senior Estimator you must have:
- At least 10 years experience in general construction.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or another construction related field.
- Experience in supervising Junior Estimators.
You will be responsible for:
- Interfacing with Project Architects, Owners, Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers.
- Mentoring Junior Estimators.
- Reviewing project blueprints and specifications.
- Performing Conceptual, Negotiated, GMP and Competitive bids.
- Pricing and take off of all trades.
- Writing bid packages.
- Negotiating and writing contracts.
- Value Engineering and presenting bids to owners.
