My client based in Vancouver currently has an urgent requirement for an IFRS conversion specialist with a strong background in banking to assist them through the conversion period .It is envisaged that this role will run from 12 -18 months .
The successful candidate will be involved in
* Oversee securitization accounting including acquisition and disposal of assets reconciliation of cash flows and development of derivative models
* Serve as the key member of the IFRS implementation team with responsibility for assessing the impact of IFRS on securitizations activities
* Improvement of operational efficiencies initiatives for Treasury, Accounting and Funding.
Required
IFRS conversion experience
Strong knowledge of financial instruments and valuations including derivatives
The ideal candidate will be a designated CA with two years supervisory experience.
