Our client, a construction solutions provider, is growing and is looking for an electrical engineer with strong experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate has extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of designing and implementing electrical systems. We are looking for a deadline oriented professional engineer with extensive hands-on experience who is confident communicating with all levels of management as well as mentoring team members.
The main job duties will include design and drafting of electrical, power, lighting and communication systems as well as assisting with building and site inspections. Collaboration with in-house designers, managers and other professionals will also be required. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and life safety systems as well as a solid understanding of structural wiring. Previous experience with institutional, retail and commercial projects would be a definite asset.
Requirements:
Minimum ten years work experience
P. Eng a must with RCDD certification and LEED accreditation as valuable assets
Autocad, CEC, BCBC and NBC
