Audit Manager

On behalf of our client, a Burnaby based Chartered Accounting firm, we are looking for a professional who is ready to make the next move in his/her career. This person will work closely with clients, staff, and partners to manage audit engagements for public companies and publically accountable entities.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of engagement completion including scheduling, planning, client coordination, monitoring, managing and file review.

• Possess a CA designation with 4 to 5 years of public practice experience, be self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects as well as meet multiple deadlines.

• Have prior managerial experience (preferred).

• Have excellent communication and analytical skills, advanced knowledge of Canadian and US GAAP, IFRS and income tax rules, strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to make recommendations.

• Be an experienced leader with strong team building and coaching skills and the ability to maintain open and honest communication with staff and partners. You will also be involved with training existing and new staff.

• Salary range $80-100K depending on experience, benefits 50%, 3 weeks vacation, 5 paid sick days/yr.
