If you’ve been able to deliver change and be a strong contributor so far in your career our client wants to meet you. As a key member of this business unit that has an international reach and scope and will be responsible for all configuration management processes and tasks, including code branching, merging, automated build script creation, improvement and maintenance. You’ll be in “the know” having a hand in all in all the ongoing projects to understand the configuration requirement and release plans and will be actively involved in setting up of new projects and new build environments to identify and execute configurations for all software components.
Tell us about your configuration work history and skills coming from QA or Development: we want to hear about your experience and skills with:
-SCCS /SCM tools administration, specifically Subversion
-ANT, XML, Maven and Python scripting
-Java and ability to understand a Java stack trace.
-Weblogic Application Server administration and deployment knowledge
-Software development, design and implementation principles
-Understanding java application/function specific configurations in XML.
-Working in both Windows and UNIX environments
