Do you have strong web application Interface Building skills combined with a strong grasp of User-centered design and HCI principles?
We are on the hunt for the ‘crème of the crop’ in Interface and Presentation layer developers – also known as “UI Developers”. You will be charged with taking wireframes and graphics from other members of the design team and building User Interfaces that are clean, user-friendly and useful from conceptualization through to implementation. Your strong understanding of Usability Best Practices and Web Accessibility principles combined with your keen eye for detail will make you a strong candidate for this position. Critical to this role is your ability to fit into a consulting environment and so your personality and approach to this role will be from a consultative and business-minded angle so experience running your own freelancing book of work may be an advantage here. Due to the high level nature of the clients you’ll be working with, you must be able to demonstrate working experience in projects for high profile and recognized global organizations in your portfolio.
Technically, you will be an expert user (5+ years) of the following technologies:
- CSS
- JQuery
- HTML/DHTML/XML
- Javascript
- Adobe Flash Actionscripting (and Flex a bonus)
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc)
- Web Accessibility Standards
Additionally, candidates with the following technologies skill sets will be given priority:
- ASP.Net
