Director of Wood Products Markets Forecasting & Analysis

We have been hired to locate an industry professional who has real world economic forecasting, analysis, or strategic planning within the wood products markets: ability to understand, create, and drive development of a forecast is required.

Must have :
• In-depth knowledge of the wood products markets in some or all or parts of the
  following: housing markets, hardwood/softwood/engineered lumber,
  structural/MDF/Particleboard panels, or more.
• High initiative: ability to lead development of a new business unit, build quality
  insight/analysis, connect with customers, and evolve valuable services for their
  needs.
• Strong communication skills, writing, analytical skills, and verbal
• Commitment to deadlines, ability to focus and deliver quality results when you
  promise them.
• Strong focus on quality: the quality of our insight/analysis and service is how
  we define our success.
• People skills, ability to work with other LBM economists, and all other teams.
• Management: ability to lead and develop analysts and economists to perform
  detail work in-support of your tasks
