White Box QA Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop test plans and test cases according to business and technical requirements
- Execute test cases
- Identify, research, reproduce issues and report bugs
- Add test cases into existing automation harness using Xquery, Java and Selenium
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
MS/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2-3 years QA experience
Working knowledge of Java and/or scripting languages
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
Understanding of product life cycle, QA principles and process
Working knowledge of Selenium is a plus
Ability to generate test plans with minimum assistance
Ability to take guidance from senior team member and work independently
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Ability to identify, isolate and document defects
Ability to communicate and collaborate with developers to help isolate defects and to understand how to structure robust test cases
Comfortable and adaptable in high-paced environment
