VLSI Design Engineer
VLSI engineer with experience in developing products for digital processing of analog video
Minimum Education: BSEE with 3 years of relevant experience or MSEE with signal processing course-work or co-op/internship.
Key areas of responsibilities:
Logic design, verification, silicon validation/characterization, and system-level testing for analog capture functionality of DTV silicon.
Required Skills: (Skills/Experience NECESSARY to perform job.)
Design: Proficient in Verilog, C, Shell scripting, DC and PT
Labs: Demonstrable skills in using logic analyzer and oscilloscope
Problem solving: Analytical and persistent in resolving technical issues
Communication: Effective and proactive interpersonal skills
Desired Skills: (Skills/Experience NOT required, but would be a plus.)
Domain: Analog video standards, digital television or display panel, packet-based communication
Experience: ASIC methodology, SOC tape-out flow, silicon validation and application/driver support
Knowledge/Experience: ADC/DAC, DSP, NTSC/PAL, VESA
Programming: System C, Specman, Awk, Perl and Tcl/Tk
Tools: Formality, Debussy
