| Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position will play a key role in defining and developing and key features of the company product. . Major Responsibilities Designing and implementing new features that enable a superior user-experience Selecting and enabling appropriate open source technologies and applications Working effectively in a team environment Providing guidance to other team members working locally and remotely Improving the user experience while keeping in mind our core values: Instant On/Off, All Day Computing, and Always Connected Experience & Skill Set The ideal candidate will have recent and clear expertise delivering GUI applications on embedded or mobile platforms. A minimum of 10 years development experience in most of the following areas is required: AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, CSS X Window System, X window managers, gnome, GTK Linux embedded systems Other high-level application frameworks and platforms Solid C/C++ programming and debugging skills Performance analysis and optimization Familiarity with svn and bugzilla is a plus. Educational Background This position requires a Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. |
