Job Description:
Software Applications Architect The Software Applications Architect will be responsible for delivering on company's online promise through innovative software solutions that ensure company continues to lead the solar industry in technology and channel innovation. This position reports to the VP of Technology and Product Development.
Responsibilities:
Overall system architecture and design, including integration with external systems
Continue driving innovation of our proprietary Remote Solar Design application
Code, test, and configure both internal and external software applications
Be an integral part of the build / buy decisions for major software components, including CRM, ERP, and BPM systems
Contribute to the software and web technology strategy of the company
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
Intimate knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with CRM and BPM, preferably with implementation and configuration
Experience in OOP and SOA
Experience with Agile development processes, continuous integration and deployment
Experience with Cloud deployment and operations is a plus
Experience leading distributed technical teams is a plus
Startup company experience preferred.
