Required Skills

The job will require implementing and managing a comprehensive set of system test suites focusing on end to end functionality and customer scenarios. The candidate should have experience doing the following:

• Implementation and administration of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint, and SQL Server deployments including high availability, backups, disaster recovery, and virtualization.
• Virtualization experience with VMware products. Integrating VMware deployments with SANs.
• Test planning and working with test case management systems
• Basic lab setup including installing and setting up OSes and applications on physical hosts and virtual machines.
• Experience with Linux and Windows
• Test automation with a scripting language
• Understand how to test storage servers
• Experience with networking and networking equipment is a plus

Major Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of tests and adjust test strategy accordingly
• Setup and maintain test infrastructure for manual and automated testing.
• Create system level end to end tests

  • test for data consistency
  • with key real world applications in typical deployment configurations
