Senior RF IC Design Engineer
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be involved in research, definition, design, simulation, layout supervision, characterization and release to production of high-performance state of the art BiCMOS/CMOS integrated circuits in wireless applications.
Requirements:
• BSEE, MSEE preferred with 5+ years of experience in silicon IC design for wireless applications.
• Hands-on design experience with BiCMOS/CMOS custom circuit designs.
• Must possess strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design and simulation.
• Must understand placement and layout issues with respect to high integration IC.
Candidate should also have experience designing several of the following blocks:
• Low Noise Amplifier
• Mixer (Passive / Active / I/Q)
• Analog Variable Gain Amplifier (Baseband / RF / IF)
• Digital Variable Gain Amplifier (Baseband / RF / IF)
• Power detector
• Voltage Controlled Oscillator
• Phase Locked Loop
