Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer (Power Management focus)
Location: San Diego, California
Status: Full-time/Direct-hire
Duties:
• You will work with a team of IC designers and systems engineers to lead the development of power management solutions for company’s next-generation products.
• You will define architectures based on high-level SOC specifications and lead the implementation of these circuits.
• You will participate in integration of these designs into products and will be responsible for design validation, debug, and characterization through product release.
Requirements:
• Candidate must have 5+ years of experience designing power management circuits.
• Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of switching mode regulators, linear regulators and analog building blocks such as op-amps, band-gaps.
• Candidate must have prior experience with power management solutions for battery connected devices.
• Candidate must be familiar with a variety of architectures for each type of circuit, and you must show a clear understanding of design choices and tradeoffs required to meet key specifications.
• Candidate’s experience should include taking designs from concept through productization.
• Candidate should have hands-on experience testing your own designs in the lab, and you must be able to define characterization and production test techniques for all building blocks.
• Candidate communication and presentation skills are critical, and you should show a strong desire and potential to lead technology development.
• Education: Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
