Business Development Manager (Staffing/Recruiting)

Location: Kearny Mesa

Job Summary:

TalentFuse is currently expanding and seeking talented and driven Business Development Managers for our San Diego office supporting Southern California and beyond.  The person in this role will be responsible for developing and managing professional relations with our clients to staff their I.T., Software Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management and Infrastructure teams in Southern California.  This person must organize a daily call plan from a variety of resources and tools.  There will be heavy phone interface throughout the better part of the day, many of which being cold calls.  To achieve expected goals this person is required to make daily calls in order to see results.  In this position success will directly correlate with the work and effort put in.  This person must be prepared and highly motivated to work hard every day, think outside the box and have with tenacity and drive.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Generate your own leads/practice through active networking, industry/trade groups, internet resources and additional creative methods.
• This is a “hunter” role where your core responsibility is to develop new relationships with new and existing clients, obtain service level agreements and bring in new qualified business.
• Conduct industry/account research to become quickly educated on companies, industries and market trends.
• Responsible for meeting monthly sales metrics and performance goals.

Qualifications:

• BA / BS strongly preferred. Equivalent industry/sales experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of selling recruiting, professional services or software to Director & C-level is required.
• Solid understanding of general Information Technology concepts and trends.
• A track record of meeting and exceeding expectations and delivering on commitments.
• Must have fearless phone skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary on the phone and during client visits.
• Must be hard working and dedicated to excellence.
• Aggressive, action-oriented, results-oriented, closing techniques.
• Prior experience with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is preferred.
• Prior experience with MaxHire is a plus!

Compensation / Benefits:

TalentFuse supports its Business Development Managers with a competitive base + commission program. Targeted total compensation for a first year BDM can be $80,000 - $120,000.  Medical / Dental / Vision/ 401K and Life Insurance is included.  10 days of vacation time and 5 days of sick time provided and 10 paid holidays.
