Job Description:

Entrepreneurial professional services organization requires a full-time experienced technical resource in software application development, systems engineering & architecture.  Knowledge of application development life-cycle, processes and methodologies is a must.  The candidate must possess a background with proven experience in the deployment and implementation of mission critical solutions in some or most of the following areas.

Prime Platform Skill:             Nortel Networks & IVR Generic

Well-rounded telephony professional with demonstrated experience as a “Hands-On” Technologist with an eye for application, services or product development and a “Team Leader” with strong communication skills.

Responsibility for working within a team of Call Center Technology engineers skilled on multiple IVR and CTI platforms, with a focus on developing and supporting custom solutions encompassing a wide variety of back-end integrations as well as several packaged solutions aimed at enhancing call center efficiency.

Detail and process-oriented with a strong focus on ensuring high quality results while meeting or exceeding project technical objectives and maintaining defined budgets and schedules.

Individual must possess a strong command of the English language with strong interpersonal skills and enjoys establishing customer & partner relationships and recognizes the need to provide value to foster such relationships.

Requirements:

ü       Proven strong technical software IVR / VXML development abilities.

§         Knowledge of speech recognition (experience implementing/integrating/tuning)

§         VXML and at least one dynamic server side language (JSP, PHP, ASP)

§         Several medium (SMB) to large implementations (SME) - including development, support, tuning, maintenance

ü       Knowledge of the Nortel products (VPS, MPS, BCM)

§         PeriProducer, PeriStudio, PeriReporter, CallPilot, Symposium, CCT, CCS, TAPI, HDX

§         Solaris administration, Windows 2000/2003 administration, Linux administration

§         Programming: C, VXML, Java, HTML, PERL, Shell scripting (KSH, BSH, CSH)

§         Minimum 3-5 years experience

ü       Ability to articulate and interpret design schemas (call flows, functional specifications, architectural diagrams, etc.) – programming/business-analysis skills including the ability to understand end-to-end call centre environments and technologies.
