Security Clearance:
These positions at Camp Lejeune do require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining a security clearance. Eligibility for a Secret clearance may also be required from the DoD.
Program Description:
You would work at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune (NHCL) hospital located on Marine Air Station Cherry Point within the Management Information Department. The hospital is designed to accommodate up to 220 beds, and supports all outlying clinics, pharmacies, and other offices in the area.
The Management Information Department (MID) is tasked with the maintenance and repair of approximately 2500 personal computers (PC’s) as well as associated peripherals, plus a variety of Clinical Business applications. The Management Information Department provides 24-hours by seven days a week support.
Job Description:
This position shall provide Helpdesk Tier 1 & Tier 2 support during the hours of 0630-1800 Monday - Friday with a rotating schedule as well as possible Rotating schedule for 24 Hour Coverage Support in the future. This position is to set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PC’s, peripheral components, and various approved software packages. This position shall install/replace/move PC and printer components. You will be expected to document all work tickets and the resolution in Remedy database or designated method. Task requires some physical lifting of equipment (Up to 50 lbs).
Knowledge and Tools:
Provide Lead PC Technical Support to the Management Information Department. This position requires a person who is able to provide Professional Telephone Customer Support utilizing his/her IT experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues and coming up with or applying approved fixes. Experience with
Active Directory: User Account Management, Computer Account Management and with ActiveRoles Server Console.
Experience installing, configuring , and troubleshooting the following: Windows 2000, Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003.
Able to do some Network Troubleshooting. Must have experience in imaging PC's and getting rid of Network Security Vulnerabilities. Experience with working with Remote tools such as Systems Management Server and Dameware.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Applications (AHLTA) a plus
A+ Certified
Differentiator: Hospital IT experience

3 years Computer experience (5 yrs desired)
Education:
A.S. or A.A. degree
Special Notes:
Job does not offer overtime. Need to be able to shift rotations and possible on-call rotation for 24hr Support Coverage in the future.
