Electronics Technician

Expected Job Duties:

Assist engineers in the fabrication and /or assembly of electronic boards, cables and equipment racks.  Assist engineers in the testing of electronic hardware

• Assist engineers in the fabrication and assembly of breadboard and engineering models.  30%
• Assist engineers in the rework of flight model boards.  Add and remove test wires from flight model boards.  10%
• Assist engineers in the assembly of electronics test equipment racks.  20%
• Assist engineers in board debug and execution of board/box environmental testing.  20%
• Fully document all work preformed.  20% 

Required Skills/Education:

• Five years of progressively increasing responsibility assembling electronic hardware..
• Familiarity with the use of test equipment.
• Ability to assemble electronics hardware from minimal direction. 

Desired Skills/Education:

• Post high school formal training in electronics with 10 years soldering/assembly experience.
• NASA CCH (NASA-STD-8739.4), Polymerics (NASA-STD-8739.1) and NASA Soldering (NASA-STD-8739.3) certifications.
