Job Description:
Principal Analog Design Engineer
Minimum Experience: MS + 10 Years OR BS + 12 Years in the area of analog Integrated Circuit. At least 2 years of experience in design of Bipolar/BiCMOS circuits is required.
The candidate should have an in depth knowledge of Low Noise Amplifiers, high linearity integrated and discrete filters, programmable gain amplifiers and line driver designs and high speed data converters. Candidate should be familiar with various test & measurement equipments used for characterization of analog ICs and will be required to work on evaluation of silicon as part of the overall design of various products for DSL applications. Background in system modeling is preferred. Candidate should be experienced in use of Cadence schematic capture, Spectre or equivalent simulators. Knowledge of layout and backend flow of analog IC design is essential.
In this position, candidate will be required to research, design and develop state of the art Analog Front End circuits for VDSL application in sub-micron CMOS/BiCMOS technologies. He/she will supervise layout of the circuits. He/she will perform characterization of the silicon to verify functionality, debug problems found in silicon and fix the problems. He/she will work on discrete board level implementation of circuits to verify circuit performance and/or to test/debug performance of analog blocks when used in overall system.
