Job Description:

Position title:  Senior Design Engineer

Detailed skills required:  Experienced ASIC Design Engineer responsible for design and implementation of complex SoC devices. Requires solid knowledge of digital high-speed circuit design, RTL coding using Verilog or VHDL, test bench generation and simulation, static timing analysis, design for test, and logic synthesis. Qualified candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of embedded processor cores, SoC bus protocols, high speed serial interfaces, and IP integration.

Specific tool experience required:  VCS, Modelsim, Design Compiler, Primetime, Spyglass.

Preferred Design Center location (include optional locations if appropriate):  San Diego.
