Job Description:
Field Application Engineer
Location: North Andover, MA

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the head of sales, this position will be the primary technical and applications support contact for the assigned territories. Specific responsibilities include:

• Work closely with sales and marketing to complete the technical details of new product definitions, developing User's Guides, Data Sheets, and Application Notes as well as other technical documentation for customers.
• Help identify, develop and secure new proprietary design-in opportunities within potential customers
• Deliver technical presentations and workshops and effectively present technical features and benefits of our products to customers, OEMs, etc.
• Understand the customers'applications and end products and recommend solutions; assist them with part selection, board layout & design, software development
• Develop evaluation, demo boards and reference designs, and perform lab evaluation of new product application.
• Be able to investigate customer's issues and help customers solve the problems in using our products.

Qualifications:
• Minimum BSEE, MSEE preferred
• Minimum 5 year of electronic circuit and system design experience
• Experience in supporting customers with electronic component applications is desirable.
• Extensive working experience with C-programming & assembly language, especially for MCU or DSP programming.
• Hard ware/architecture design capability/experience preferred
• Knowledge of Cell phone, GPS, consumer handheld device, automobile electronic applications will be a big plus.
• Must be a team player
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
