Job Description:

Sr. Field Applications Engineer       Summary of Job Duties: Applications engineer focused on internal development and release of semiconductor components.  Semiconductor components emphasize RF amplifiers, but may include mixers, switches, converters and/or modulators with their associated application circuits.  Required Skills: Technical interface with customers to advise the performance characteristics of devices and recommend particular devices for an application.  Determination of customer requirements for specific applications.  Design of RF applications circuits using standard RF software design tools.  Test and alignment of RF circuits using standard RF software design tools.  Data analysis of performance characterizations of RF amplifiers, mixers, and other components.    Analysis of competitor's products.  Acting as the technical liason to the sales team.  Creation and updates to product datasheets and application notes.    Required Experience: 4 or more years designing RF circuits.  Proficiency with device and circuit simulation is required.  Experience with ADS or Microwave Office are desired.  Hands-on experience with RF test equipment.  Good verbal and written communication skills.    Required Education: BSEE with emphasis on RF design, MSEE preferred.  Study emphasis should include analog/RF/microwave circuit design.
