Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Provide hands–on leadership to software engineering team
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers on your team
• Define the architectural roadmap for the platform that supports current and future solutions
• Develop project plans and manage resources for long–term platform features
• Develop full–featured end–to–end solutions and product architecture
• Coordinate deliverables between Engineering, Product Management, QA, Sales, etc.
• Strong project management skills, including an ability to prioritize tasks and dependencies
• Set and maintain high quality standards for the team, working with QA to continually refine processes and tools
• Contribute to new product definition and vision of product line
• Well versed in Product Life Cycle and pragmatic application of agile development processes

Skills and Education:

• Strong understanding of wireless technologies: 802.11 WLANs
• Strong understanding of security technologies: 802.11i or WPA2, SSL/TLS, IPsec or SSL VPNs, NAT/Firewalls
• Experience in implementing protocols like 802.11abgn MAC, LWAPP, CAPWAP, IAPP, etc.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, esp. QoS, SNMP, VLAN switching, IP routing, etc.
• Strong in Linux based embedded development – kernel mode networking drivers and/or applications
• Strong in C/C++ software development with good debugging skills
• Strong experience in Scalability & High–Availablity architectures for Linux-based embedded networking devices
• Good communication skills and ability to attend to details
• Thrive on challenges in an entrepreneurial setting
• Minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
