Job Description:

Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer (Power Management)

Our client company is a fabless semiconductor company developing revolutionary mixed-signal power management chips for mobile devices. 

Position Description:

You will be responsible for designing analog/mixed signal circuits used in power management chips.  Specifically you will:

• Develop design specifications and circuit topologies
• Perform circuit design
• Prepare block diagrams, schematics, simulation
• Present design reviews
• Perform layout design and oversee all layout related activities

Work with Test/Product Engineering to develop test specifications and perform measurements

Required Skills:

• LDOs and battery chargers
• Power MOSFETs and gate drivers design
• Power management sub systems for battery powered, portable devices
• Switching regulator design (power supply)
• Low power linear circuits: OPAMP, filters, other signal conditioning
• 8+ years of analog design experience

Desired Skills:

• Switched capacitor circuits: filters, comparators, sample/hold
• Low power PLL
• A/D converters (SAR, multiple slope, sigma-delta)
• Mixed-signal control systems
• Strong device physics and high voltage CMOS IC technology
• Ability to implement mixed signal macro cells from IC specifications in either Cadence and/or Synopsis flows
• Designed linear circuits using a CMOS technology of 0.5um to 0.25um
